Thanks to everyone who helped make The Disc! #9 possible!
The Disc! #9 was especially hard work this month, with the office schedule disrupted considerably by the intrusion of the Winter Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The usual gang of suspects showed up again -- James Piper, assistant disc editor; Amy Pruette, senior art & design director; Hudson Best, associate art director; Carol Ellison, graphic artist; Phill Powell, associate editor; Lisa Howie and Anne Tucker, assistant editors; Irma Swain, production director; and Pamela Lambert, our production coordinator.
Tim Victor, TechnoVision columnist and contributing editor, programmed the Windows user interface on the PC version of The Disc!
A special thanks to Gary Todd and his company, Televisual Productions, for taping and
digitizing the video greetings from our publisher and staff members.
Another special thanks goes to Matthew Richards, editor of our sister publication, CD-ROM Today, in the United Kingdom, especially for sending us some choice Mac programs he could not use; and also to all the good folks at our more distant British 'cousins,' PC Format and MacFormat magazines.
